How Many Hours Did You Sleep Last Night?

I have seen many aspiring entrepreneurs think of skipping on sleep as a badge of honor as if it is the daring path to success.
But some recent studies proves that even the most dedicated founder could best perform for their venture only by resting up.
In one study, researchers found that tired entrepreneurs were more likely to place lousy ideas above better ones and were more likely to rely on insignificant cues to make decision.
People who slept less made mistakes evaluating vague business ideas.
And finally, in a sleep deprivation experiment involving student entrepreneurs, those who stayed up for at least 24 consecutive hours placed lousy ideas higher than those who slept at least seven hours.
These results show that the vital problem with sleep-deprived entrepreneurs is that they lose their decision-making ability, clear sense of direction, presence of mind and are more likely to pursue a bad idea because it seems superficially desirable.
This can be terrible for especially new and budding entrepreneurs. So now, let's take this time to put the myth of the sleepless founders to bed.
Peace.
